Job Summary

Provide system administration for a large, complex, geographically distributed network with air-gapped systems, multiple domains, storage, and infrastructure. Support engineering requests, upgrades, and maintenance in a fast-paced environment. Requires strong troubleshooting, adaptability, and network-centric skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Install/administer systems/applications; ensure timely issue resolution.
• Optimize server/desktop configs for continuous efficiency.
• Manage security and performance optimization.
• Sustain web-based info sharing app; maintain server enclaves (patching, certs, vuln mgmt, AD).
• Troubleshoot hardware/software; develop rework solutions.
• Document environments for incident resolution.
• Communicate with users/management on outages/upgrades.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in relevant field + 8 years exp (substitutable).
• Direct sysadmin support experience.
• Windows Server 2016/2019, AD, Linux, MS servers/workstations proficiency.
• OS/App hardening (DISA, high-assurance).
• Deployment, patching, backups; Red Hat 7/8, VMWare, Tomcat/IIS/SQL.
• Security accreditation docs; advanced protocols; network techs (PKI, SSP, VA).
• Client/server virtualization; hardware install/config/troubleshoot/reimage; disk arrays, PowerShell/PowerCLI, KVMs.
