Military Family Life Counselor - Eielson AFB, AK

Leidos is seeking licensed behavioral health professionals to join our Adult Military and Family Life Counseling (MFLC) team at Eielson Air Force Base, AK. Support U.S. military service members and families navigating unique challenges of military life through non-medical, preventive counseling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver face-to-face counseling for individuals, couples, and families.
  • Engage in installation activities, providing coaching and modeling behavior techniques.
  • Present at military events and promote positivity through approved materials.
  • Assist with transitions like new schools and homes; report trends to leadership.
  • Respond to emergencies across indoor (60%) and outdoor (40%) environments, including uneven terrain and weather exposure.

  • Ability to pass NACI/CNACI Public Trust clearance (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Provide face-to-face counseling to service members, spouses, and families
  • Conduct presentations at military-connect events and build rapport at installation activities
  • Offer coaching, guidance, and behavior management techniques to staff and families
  • Respond to emergent situations across indoor/outdoor military installation locations
  • Report trends and issues to Team Leads and participate in required trainings
