Leidos is seeking licensed behavioral health professionals for the Child and Youth Behavioral Military and Family Life Counselor (CYB-MFLC) role at Schofield Barracks, HI. Provide vital non-medical counseling, consultation, and outreach to children, youth, parents, and staff at Child Development Centers (CDCs). Help military children navigate unique challenges from frequent moves, deployments, and transitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with children 0-5 in CDCs and school-aged youth in before/after-school programs.
  • Coach staff and parents on behavior management and social-emotional development.
  • Present on social skills, promote creativity, and support transitions to new environments.
  • Attend community events to build family rapport and report installation trends.
  • Respond to emergencies across indoor/outdoor military sites, including rugged terrain.

  • Observe, engage, and model behavior management for children, staff, and parents
  • Deliver presentations on social skills and emotional learning development
  • Build rapport with families through events and assist with transitions like new schools
  • Participate in training, report trends to Team Leads, and respond to emergent situations on military installations
