Join Leidos as a Military Family Life Counselor (Child Development Center)

Leidos seeks licensed behavioral health professionals for our Child and Youth Behavioral Military Family Life Counselor (CYB-MFLC) team in Monterey, CA. Support U.S. military families through non-medical counseling, consultation, and outreach at Child Development Centers (CDCs). Help children aged 0-5 and school-aged youth navigate military life challenges with preventive, solution-focused approaches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in CDC activities, providing coaching to staff, parents, and children.
  • Model behavior management and promote social-emotional learning via presentations.
  • Assist with transitions like new schools or homes and attend community events.
  • Participate in training and report trends to team leads.
  • Respond to emergent situations across indoor/outdoor military installation locations.
