Military Family Life School Counselor – Fort Cavazos, TX
Leidos seeks licensed behavioral health professionals for our Child and Youth Behavioral Military and Family Life Counselor (CYB-MFLC) team at Fort Cavazos School. This 9-month school calendar role supports military children facing unique stressors of military life through preventive, non-medical counseling.
Key Responsibilities
- Work directly in schools with military youth and teens, engaging in activities and providing coaching/guidance.
- Model behavior techniques for staff/parents and deliver social-emotional learning presentations.
- Build family rapport via events and aid transitions to new schools/homes.
- Respond to emergent situations across installations, including outdoor/rugged terrain (60% indoor/40% outdoor).
- Communicate trends to Team Leads and complete required training.

Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s+ in Behavioral Health Professions.

Required Qualifications

- Ability to pass NACI/CNACI clearance and background check (experience)
Responsibilities
- Provide non-medical counseling, consultation, and outreach to military youth, parents, and school staff
