Join our Airborne Systems Business Area in Beavercreek, OH, and support critical Air Force Research Lab, Air Force Lifecycle Management Center, and DoD missions. As a Model-Based Systems Engineer, you'll deliver next-generation solutions via software design, hardware integration, lab testing, and flight experiments.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Use MBSE tools like NoMagic CSM and Cameo/MagicDraw to capture, decompose, and trace system requirements.
  • Analyze, define, and refine architectures and interfaces for complex defense systems.
  • Develop detailed system structure and behavior models.
  • Exercise existing models and create new ones to simulate future weapons in larger fighting forces.
  • Collaborate across government stakeholders, software, test, mechanical, and electrical teams in a dynamic SIL environment.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree + 2+ years or Master’s + 1 year in systems engineering, software engineering, test engineering, or related.
  • US Citizen with active DoD TS clearance (TS/SCI preferred).
  • SysML experience, preferably Cameo/MagicDraw; SIL environment experience.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and multi-tasking skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI; Agile (SCRUM/Kanban); Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket).
  • OCSMP certification; executable SysML simulation; scripting; Magicgrid; military CONOPS.

  • Support software design, hardware integration, lab experimentation, ground/flight testing
