We're seeking a talented Software Developer to support missile defense projects within the BMD Simulations and Analysis Portfolio. Primary Responsibilities

• Perform high-level C++, Java software development: design, troubleshoot, debug.
• Collaborate with experts to enhance systems with new capabilities.
• Ensure code is efficient, reliable, reusable using best engineering practices.
• Build and run CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies: PI planning, sprints, demos, retrospectives.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s (4-8 years exp) or Master’s (2-6 years) in relevant field.
• Proficient in C++; Red Hat Linux; network programming (UDP/TCP).
• Unit testing, documentation, CI/CD experience.
• Agile team collaboration; US Citizen with active Secret clearance.
• North Alabama resident for full-time onsite work.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAFe Agile knowledge; CI/CD with Ansible/Jenkins.
• Python/Java/UI; Jira; multi-threaded programming.
• DoD/industry experience in defense simulations.
