Network Administration and Operations Engineer

Join Leidos at Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii, as a Network Administration and Operations Engineer supporting the Theater Mission Planning Center (TMPC) Network. This evening shift role demands expertise in secure, reliable DoD network operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive network engineering: planning, design, maintenance, and oversight for TMPC LAN.
  • Evaluate components and recommend cutting-edge technologies to boost capabilities.
  • Provide daily IS security support to Government and DoD personnel for ISSE Guard and TMPC systems.
  • Maintain tactical capabilities knowledge and contribute to TMPC lifecycle development.
  • Conduct security testing, support accreditation documentation, and implement upgrades.
  • Execute LAN maintenance, switch configurations aligned with baselines.
  • Solve complex technical issues and communicate procedures across agencies and teams.
  • Manage security documentation, schedules, and deliver weekly/monthly LAN reports.
  • Perform Information Assurance and Certification, advising on policy compliance.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s + 2-4 years experience (or Master’s + <2 years); experience substitutes for degree.
  • Proven Windows domain/server/workstation admin in complex networks.
  • Familiarity with Event Viewer, VMware, Active Directory, Group Policy, HBSS, Linux.
  • Active Security+, CISSP or equivalent.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
