Leidos' Digital Modernization sector is hiring a skilled Network Engineer for a future 100% on-site role supporting GSM-O II infrastructure. Disrupt the status quo and drive mission-critical network solutions at the forefront of defense IT.
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver intermediate to senior-level expertise in network integration across multi-system environments.
- Craft detailed technical implementation plans outlining actions, milestones, and critical paths.
- Troubleshoot installation and upgrades for network hardware and systems.
- Interface with customers, vendors, and teams to meet business/technical needs, including new circuit setups.
- Author technical briefings, SOPs, standards, and status reports for senior leadership.
- Contribute to network architecture designs and technology evaluations.
- Collaborate on innovations to boost efficiency and operability.
Basic Qualifications
- BS + 8+ years experience (or equivalent).
- Active DoD TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly eligibility.
- IAT Level II cert (e.g., Security+, CCNA Security).
- Expertise in Cisco (S2S, DMVPN, BGP), Palo Alto Firewalls, AWS (VPCs, Route 53, Firewall Services).
- ITIL knowledge, self-starter mindset, strong communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- DISA experience, cloud network proficiency, Master’s in IT/Cybersecurity.

- Evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations
- Collaborate with customers, vendors, and partners on requirements
