Leidos seeks a Sr. Network Infrastructure Lead for the high-stakes AGUN migration team, supporting the US Army's global wide-area network and security infrastructure. This remote role demands expert leadership in operating secure, centralized enterprise network solutions amid complex migrations.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead infrastructure engineers in designing and maintaining Army global networks.
  • Conduct legacy discovery, analyze routing/configs, and enable seamless migrations.
  • Develop ELK-based monitoring dashboards and ingest legacy device data.
  • Enhance virtualization/container setups (Kubernetes) for management apps.
  • Optimize performance via monitoring tools to ensure capacity and standards compliance.
  • Partner with cybersecurity teams for DoD-compliant SIEM integration.
  • Produce detailed documentation with diagrams using wiki tools.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s +12 years or Master’s +10 years experience (substitutable).
  • DoD SECRET clearance and IAT Level II cert (e.g., Security+).
  • Proven team leadership; Kubernetes/ELK/Linux/Red Hat/VSAN/VMware expertise.
  • Enterprise tools experience; STIG hardening; troubleshooting skills.
  • 10% travel; non-standard shifts; strong communication.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Virtualized networks; InfoVista/NPM apps; NetSecOps (Ansible/Terraform).
  • Windows/Dell servers; PKI; Army network security expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Lead team of infrastructure engineers in network design and operations for US Army global WAN
  • Perform legacy environment discovery, assess routing/configurations for AGUN migration
  • Analyze network monitoring tools/processes and build dashboards with ELK
  • Modify virtualization/container infrastructure for network management apps
  • Optimize resources using performance monitoring to meet capacity standards
  • Collaborate with IA teams/CSSPs for DoD compliance and SIEM integration
  • Document designs, diagrams, and narratives using wiki/diagramming tools
