Join Leidos as a Network Migration Engineer

Leidos seeks a skilled Network Migration Engineer for our elite AGUN migration team supporting the US Army's global wide-area network. This 100% remote role demands expert leadership in complex network transformations, with occasional travel up to 10%.

Program Overview

The AGUN program powers the Army's secure, worldwide network infrastructure. You'll lead operations for large-scale migrations, directing staff to deliver mission-critical performance, security, and reliability across continents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain enterprise-grade secure networks for DoD operations.
  • Conduct discovery of legacy routing/configurations for seamless AGUN migrations.
  • Design and validate SD-WAN/MPLS underlay/overlay for QoS and security.
  • Migrate VRF, route tables, and segmentation from legacy to modern systems.
  • Implement optimization strategies meeting capacity/performance SLAs.
  • Collaborate with IA teams for STIG compliance and cybersecurity posture.
  • Create detailed documentation, diagrams, and narratives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s + 8 years experience (or equivalent).
  • Active DoD SECRET clearance; IAT Level II cert (Security+).
  • Proven patching/upgrade/lifecycle management of network devices.
  • Deep knowledge: BGP, MPLS, IPSec, VPN, L2/L3 Routing, Firewalls.
  • Hands-on with Panorama, Cisco Prime/DNA, Junos Space.
  • Experience across Cisco/Juniper/Palo Alto/Dell/RAVPN.
  • Team troubleshooting, customer interfacing, non-standard shifts.

Preferred Skills

  • CCNP or equivalent; Army/DISA migration experience.
  • Cisco SD-WAN, Palo Alto NGFW, virtualized networks.
  • NetSecOps: Git, Ansible, Terraform, Python.
  • Expertise in Army network security and enterprise design.

  • Lead operations support staff and troubleshoot complex issues
