Join Leidos as Network Operations Shift Lead in Fort Meade, MD
Leidos is seeking a dynamic Network Operations Shift Lead for our Defense Enclave Services (DES) team, supporting critical DISA and Fourth Estate Agencies data systems at Fort Meade, MD. This day shift role (M-F, 7am-3pm) demands expert leadership in a 24x7x365 IT environment focused on network sustainment, problem/change management, and digital modernization toward a Single Service Provider model.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations across Network Control Center, Problem Management, Video/VoIP, VIP support, and Joint Operations Center.
- Lead 5+ team members in monitoring, incident resolution, and network analysis for LAN/WAN, wireless infrastructure.
- Manage NMS tools, reporting/dashboards, ServiceNow ITSM, and create twice-daily status/outage reports.
- Interface with DISA leadership, escalate tickets, track outages, and maintain Master Station Log.
- Perform critical sysadmin tasks, onboard/offboard assets, and ensure project environment availability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree + 4+ years experience (or equivalent).
- Active Secret clearance; DoD IAT Level II (Security+ CE).
- Hands-on with Active Directory, SolarWinds, SharePoint, MS Office, technical writing, ServiceNow reports.
Preferred Skills
- ITIL V3/V4, vSphere experience, briefing senior leaders, DoD IT policy knowledge.
