Join Leidos as Network Orchestration Lead

Leidos seeks a dynamic Network Orchestration Lead for our AGUN migration team, supporting the US Army's global wide-area network and security infrastructure. This remote role demands expert leadership in a high-stakes, complex network migration and operations environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead orchestration engineers in designing and implementing secure, centralized Army network solutions.
  • Conduct legacy network discovery, assessing routing, configurations, and requirements for seamless migration.
  • Analyze monitoring techniques and transform dashboards, integrating data from legacy devices into AGUN.
  • Manage virtualization/containerization infrastructure (Kubernetes) for network management apps.
  • Optimize performance using ELK, Kafka, and tools like Live Action to meet capacity standards.
  • Ensure DoD compliance with STIG hardening and SIEM integration alongside cybersecurity teams.
  • Document technical designs, diagrams, and narratives using wiki technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s (12+ years exp.) or Master’s (10+ years) in relevant field.
  • Active DoD SECRET clearance and IAT Level II (Security+) cert.
  • Proven team leadership in engineering.
  • Expertise in Kubernetes, ELK, Linux, SNMP V3, Kafka, VMware/KVM, and tools like Panorama, Cisco Prime.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and willingness for 10% travel/non-standard shifts.

Preferred Skills

  • Virtualized network devices, InfoVista, NetSecOps (Ansible, Terraform, Splunk).
  • Expertise in Army network security and global enterprise monitoring.
