The Mission
Join Leidos as an NMS ServiceNow Senior Software Designer supporting a critical program in Chantilly, VA. Provide expert knowledge in network management systems, OS, commercial/government software, and toolset integrations. This full-time, on-site role (5 days/week) requires TS/SCI with Poly.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead ServiceNow suite deployment, admin, development on RHEL/Windows; collaborate on MariaDB.
- Drive Agile/Scrum/SDLC for efficient project delivery and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with PMs/Leads on progress, risks, challenges.
- Oversee integrations with Cisco NSO, GOTS, enterprise tools.
- Ensure technical docs, user training, and Ops handoffs.
- Monitor performance/availability; proactively address issues.
- Guide hardening, RMF A&A, compliance.
- Mentor on automation (Ansible/Python/Terraform/PowerShell), testing.
- Manage troubleshooting, RCA, performance tuning.
- Lead SDLC projects within scope/budget; deliver deployable packages.
Basic Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Poly.
- 16 years experience (e.g., Bachelor's +12 years); IAT Level 2.
- 5+ years ServiceNow; Certified System Admin + one advanced cert.
- Team leadership; SDLC phases experience; Agile/Scrum/SDLC.
- Independent worker with time management skills.
