We're seeking a dedicated Occupational Safety Health Analyst to support the NISC IV program for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Air Traffic Organization (ATO) Western Service Area (WSA) in Palmdale, CA or Reno, NV. Key Responsibilities

  • Drive compliance with federal and state OSHA standards, labor agreements, and maintain all required records.
  • Lead participation in OSHA inspections, investigations, and follow-up on citations, injuries, and fatalities.
  • Deliver training courses on safe work procedures, fall protection, confined spaces, and more.
  • Assist District Safety and Environmental Compliance Managers (SECMs) with Asbestos, Lead, Environmental/OSHA Compliance, Drinking Water, IAQ, and Pandemic programs.
  • Conduct EOSH investigations for accidental releases, mishaps, and employee complaints.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree +4 years or Master's +2 years relevant experience (substitutable with additional experience).
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • 25-50% travel within Los Angeles (LAX) District; onsite work required.
  • Public Trust clearance eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CIH, CSP, ASP certifications; AHERA Asbestos, Lead, HAZWOPER a plus.
  • Experience in confined space, forklift/aerial lift operation/instruction, fall protection oversight.
  • Respirator fit-testing readiness and structure climbing capability.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and proactive teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure workplace compliance with federal/state OSHA standards and maintain records
  • Participate in OSHA inspections and post-citation procedures
  • Investigate and report injuries, fatalities, and mishaps
  • Conduct safety training on safe work procedures
  • Support FAA ATO WSA EOSH programs including Asbestos, Lead, Confined Space, Fall Protection, IAQ
