Leidos Defense Systems Electronics Manufacturing seeks skilled PCBA Soldering Technicians for our Huntsville, AL facility. Join a team producing critical Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs) for defense missions in land, sea, air, space, and cyberspace. We're solving the world's toughest security challenges for customers with 'can't fail' missions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Hand solder surface mount and through-hole components on low, medium, and high-density PCBs
- Perform precision soldering under microscope
- Execute rework on resistors, capacitors, and various electronic packages
- Read technical drawings and follow detailed work instructions
- Work independently to meet daily production goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering and production
Basic Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED with 0-4 years relevant experience
- Proven microscope soldering experience
- Skill in surface mount and through-hole soldering
- US Citizen eligible for Secret Clearance
- Available for 2nd shift (afternoon/evening hours)
- Local to North Alabama or willing to relocate
Preferred Qualifications
- IPC-A-610 certification
- J-STD-001 certification
