Piers Site Operations Lead

Join Leidos' Digital Modernization Group on the Navy’s SMIT Piers Connectivity Services program in Honolulu, HI. Support one of the world’s largest networks, serving 400,000+ devices and 600,000+ users across 1,600+ CONUS and 82 OCONUS sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee pier-side connect/disconnect services, network administration, and fiber optic repairs for US Navy vessels.
  • Manage internal and subcontractor teams, including staffing, scheduling, training, and QA.
  • Drive reporting rhythms, risk management, and progress tracking against baselines.
  • Ensure timely delivery of deliverables and SLA compliance for vessel connectivity.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer, skill development, and collaborative team environments.

Physical and Technical Requirements

Candidates must lift 50 lbs up to 100 feet, work in confined/noisy spaces, stand/sit for 8 hours, use hand tools for rack mounting, operate OTDRs/OLTS, and drive corporate vehicles. Normal color vision, depth perception, and 20/20 correctable vision required.
