As a Power Consultant Assistant Project Manager - Transaction Services in Denver, CO, you'll contribute to critical transactions for utilities, developers, and investors, making a real impact on the planet and business outcomes.

Key Role and Growth Path

Reporting to the Power Transaction Services Managing Director, you'll assist Project Managers in delivering high-impact consulting services. Gain experience to lead projects, handle billing, manage client relationships, develop proposals, and uphold rigorous SOPs. Work with experts evaluating wind, solar, battery storage, fuel cells, and more. In our flat, 100-person division, you'll impact Day 1 and advance to Project Manager, line management, or technical leadership.

  • Manage data exchanges between SMEs and clients
  • Oversee report preparation and final work products
  • Monitor project economics, budgets, and risks
  • Lead teams, facilitate meetings, and ensure milestones
  • Collaborate on proposals, contracts, and quality control

Responsibilities

  • Manage data requests between Subject Matter Experts and clients
  • Coordinate report preparation, review sections from SMEs, and organize final deliverables
  • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures
  • Monitor project economics including costs, budgets, staffing, subcontractors, and risks
  • Attend internal and client-facing meetings
  • Plan, schedule, monitor, and report on project activities
  • Lead project teams based on client requirements and milestones
  • Facilitate status review meetings with teams and clients
  • Assist with project proposals, bids, contracts, estimates, and schedules
  • Maintain quality control and resolve technical/operational issues
  • Learn from Project Managers and SMEs to advance capabilities
