Power Delivery Project Manager

Join Leidos Engineering's Power Delivery Solutions (PDS) division as a Project Manager, supporting transmission line engineering projects for electric utilities nationwide. This remote role prioritizes candidates in Texas or Colorado, with minimal regional travel (~20%). Thrive in a fast-paced environment with flexible hours and robust career development.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Independently lead teams on electric infrastructure projects.
  • Oversee project performance, costs, schedules, and scopes.
  • Drive deliverables, ensure quality control, and maintain contract compliance.
  • Interface with clients and teams to manage risks and progress.
  • Prepare proposals, estimates, and handle financial reporting.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years project management experience.
  • Proficiency in project software (e.g., MS Project, P6) and MS Office.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Valid US driver's license; periodic travel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP Certification.
  • Experience in engineering or power infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with US electric utilities.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project teams to complete electric infrastructure engineering designs
  • Manage project costs, schedule, scope, and develop recovery plans
  • Ensure contract compliance and quality control adherence
  • Interface with clients, engineering teams, and stakeholders to report progress and risks
  • Prepare bid documents, cost estimates, and RFP responses
  • Handle monthly invoices, accruals, and accounts receivable
  • Identify business development opportunities
