The Leidos Digital Modernization (DigMod) Sector seeks passionate interns to tackle complex IT and OT challenges. Based primarily at our Reston, VA offices with a hybrid schedule, this is not a remote role. Dive into six interrelated Practices: Application Modernization, Cloud & Data Center, Defensive Cyber Operations, Digital Experience, Information Advantage, and Networking—plus support functions like BD/Growth Operations, Marketing & Communications, Technical Development, and Partnerships Management.
Your Role as a Practice Area Intern
Assigned to a specific focus area with a Sector Sponsor (Strategy, Technical, or Practice support), you'll establish daily routines, join Leidos meetings, complete tailored training, and drive focus-specific activities. Ideal for inquisitive minds grasping business partnerships and tech offerings, with essential project management skills and IT affinity. Work on high-impact, innovative projects amid rapid tech evolution.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sponsor to define/execute projects advancing Practice Area goals.
- Support personnel in developing, packaging, and selling repeatable offerings.
- Engage in daily operations, meetings, and training.
Basic Qualifications
- Pursuing accredited degree in related field.
- IT concepts experience/understanding.
- Basic business/strategic principles knowledge.
- Independent research/project management skills.
- US citizenship.

- Support day-to-day activities of Practice Area personnel developing, packaging, and selling repeatable offerings
- Participate in Leidos meetings and training curriculum
- Conduct focus-area specific activities in App Mod, Cloud & Data Center, DCO, Digital Experience, Information Advantage, or Networking
- Assist with BD/Growth Operations, Marketing & Communications, Technical Development, and Partnerships Management
