Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct cybersecurity high assurance evaluations, reviewing security documents and artifacts to ensure compliance with certification standards.
• Participate in security meetings, translating vulnerabilities into actionable risk management guidance.
• Document deficiencies, recommend requirement clarifications, and improve processes to mitigate security concerns.
• Develop and evaluate critical system engineering documentation, including System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements Specifications, and security testing artifacts.
• Provide expert technical support for requirements elicitation, analysis, functional allocation, systems reviews, and technical assessments.
• Support DoD Certification/Accreditation processes, including planning, test analysis, and integration of complex hardware/software systems.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of System Engineering experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related field (5 years additional experience may substitute).
• Proven Information Assurance and Cryptographic expertise.
• Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance required.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication; team leadership skills.

Preferred Experience

• Space/Weapon/Ground/Terminal system development and evaluation.
• DoD and Government C&A processes.
• Space System Engineering.
