Primary Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end data science projects: from data exploration and model development to validation and scalable deployment.
  • Leverage machine learning, predictive modeling, and statistical techniques on large, complex datasets for actionable insights.
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Mentor junior team members on ML best practices and advanced analytics.
  • Uphold rigorous quality standards and trusted AI principles.
  • Clearly communicate findings to diverse audiences, influencing data-driven decisions.
  • Champion cutting-edge AI/ML innovations to tackle emerging challenges.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in quantitative field +12 years or Master's +10 years data science experience.
  • Full-cycle project leadership from concept to production.
  • Expertise in Python/R, libraries like pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
  • Strong ML, stats, and experimental design foundation.
  • U.S. Citizen eligible for security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Defense/intelligence sector experience.
  • Handling unstructured data (text, imagery).
  • Generative AI, LLMs, RAG knowledge.
  • Big data tools (Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (SageMaker, Azure ML).
  • Data visualization with Tableau/Power BI.
  • Project portfolio or open-source contributions.
