Principal Endpoint Security Systems Engineer at Leidos

Leidos is seeking a Principal Endpoint Security Systems Engineer to join our Intel Security Sector's Analysis Solutions Business Area in Bethesda, MD. Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain and upgrade Trellix ePolicy Orchestrator across isolated networks.
• Manage integration of Linux and Windows mission servers with consoles.
• Deploy Trellix Endpoint Threat Protection updates and optimize scan policies.
• Troubleshoot integration issues promptly with mission teams.
• Automate endpoint security in hybrid cloud/on-prem setups.
• Integrate scans with Splunk/AppDynamics for unified reporting.
• Investigate malware findings on mission systems.

Basic Qualifications

• Expertise in Trellix ePO and Endpoint Threat Protection.
• Linux and Windows platform maintenance experience.
• Strong collaboration for troubleshooting.
• Incident detection, response, and forensics skills.
• Bachelor’s + 12 years experience (or equivalent).
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cisco Secure Endpoint or similar tools.
• AWS/cloud experience.
• Splunk/AppDynamics integration.
• Hybrid on-prem/cloud endpoint management.
• Familiarity with Splunk, Rapid7, SolarWinds, Cisco IDS/IPS, etc.
