Lead High-Stakes Federal Proposals at Leidos

Leidos is expanding its elite proposal team and seeks proven Principal Proposal Managers with deep experience in large-scale Federal proposals. Primary Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end proposal development: pre-proposal planning through post-submittal analysis.
• Build compliant structures for complex solicitations, ensuring alignment with FAR and agency requirements.
• Manage schedules, outlines, kickoff meetings, and solutioning sessions with cross-functional teams.
• Embed win strategies, discriminators, customer insights, and compelling messaging into final deliverables.
• Facilitate color team reviews, providing actionable recommendations to boost compliance and scorability.
• Collaborate with executives, capture managers, technical experts, and proposal staff across geographies.
• Demonstrate flexibility for occasional onsite work in Reston, VA.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree + 12+ years Federal proposal experience, including leading $100M+ single-award bids.
• Strong grasp of Federal procurement processes (FAR/DFARS) and proven high-win-rate track record.
• Expertise in developing themes, discriminators, and messaging; current on proposal best practices.
• Skilled in managing remote teams; fluent in MS Office suite and SharePoint.
• U.S. Citizenship required due to program sensitivities.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience with video production, live orals, or demo proposals.
• Active security clearance (TS/SCI preferred).
• Versatility across solicitation sizes, complexities, and timelines; FEDSIM background a plus.
