Principal Technical Scrum Team PM (SPM) at Leidos

Leidos has an exciting opportunity for a Principal Technical Scrum Team PM (SPM) in our Intel Security Sector's Analysis Solutions Business Area. Our team leads in Security Engineering, Computer Network Operations (CNO), Mission Software, Analytical Methods and Modeling, Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), and Cryptographic Key Management. Key Responsibilities

  • Act as strategic thinker understanding requirements, risks, and mission objectives with limited guidance.
  • Execute project plans, manage governance, schedules, budgets, and mitigate execution risks.
  • Communicate complex concepts effectively to customers and technical teams.
  • Apply judgment to challenge teams, manage client expectations, and drive innovation.
  • Lead Agile teams using SAFe methodology, track deliverables to Program Increment (PI) completion.
  • Coordinate stories, production changes, and deployment approvals with stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree + 12+ years experience.
  • Expert in Agile/SAFe, service-oriented environments, web/mobile development.
  • TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAFe Agilist or Scrum Master Certification.
  • SAFe agile methodology experience.
  • Software development/infrastructure background.
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.

This role demands leadership in a tailored SAFe Agile DevSecOps environment, ensuring customer priorities align through the implementation lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Lead software development teams as key customer liaison with technical knowledge
  • Develop Epics, Features, and application roadmaps with ART PM and Technical Lead
  • Manage product design, requirements, prioritization, risk mitigation, and implementation timelines in SAFe Agile DevSecOps
  • Coordinate technical planning, Agile teams, mission customers, verification, validation, and deployments
  • Execute project plans, manage scope/schedule/cost, track deliverables to PI completion
  • Communicate complex concepts to customers and teams, manage expectations, drive innovation
  • Ensure stories are complete, socialize production changes, brief deployment boards
