Production Officer Opportunity at Leidos

Leidos is seeking a skilled Production Officer to join our Intel Sector Analysis Solutions Business Area (ASBA) in McLean, VA. Be part of a talented team leading in Security Engineering, Computer Network Operations, Mission Software, Analytical Methods, SIGINT, and Cryptographic Key Management. Support critical US national security and foreign policy objectives on counterterrorism (CT) issues through professional editing of analytical products in a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and edit products for compliance with customer style guide standards, including graphics, interactive media, visual aids, and formatting.
  • Verify sourcing for all products and graphics to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Finalize, produce, deliver, and archive intelligence publications.
  • Track edited work through production workflows and coordinate with analysts, managers, and stakeholders.
  • Adhere to production schedules in a fast-paced environment; support non-traditional schedule (Mon-Thu 12pm-10pm) with potential shift differential.

Basic Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
  • Bachelor's in English, Linguistics, or related field + 8 years relevant experience (or Master's + 6 years).
  • Proven experience editing 1-5 page Finished Intelligence Products or Assessments for IC/DoD audiences.
  • Strong editorial skills with Microsoft Word Track Changes; knowledge of classification procedures and style guides.
  • Exposure to US foreign policy, CT objectives, and interagency processes; ability to thrive in short-turnaround settings.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Adobe InDesign.
