Production Operator at Leidos – Prestons, NSW
Join Leidos Australia, delivering critical solutions in defence, CBRN protection, and government sectors. Our Prestons team procures, inspects, tests, and ships protective equipment while training defence personnel. Operate 5 days weekly with occasional 1-2 night travel to ensure seamless delivery to Australian defence sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate asset registers and build records for equipment tracking.
- Inspect returned gear, prepare for laundry, and handle minor repairs.
- Execute calibrations and basic technical tasks using SOPs.
- Address customer enquiries and adapt to requirement changes promptly.
- Load/unload containers manually (up to 20kg) or via forklift.
- Uphold EHS policies and WHS Act for a safe workplace.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Year 12 or equivalent education.
- Warehousing/inventory experience essential.
- Valid driver's and forklift licences (or willingness to obtain).
- Australian citizenship; eligible for Baseline AGSVA clearance (ITAR may apply).
- Desirable: Manufacturing production experience with process flows.
