Job Description

Join Leidos as a Program Analyst in Fort Belvoir, VA

Leidos’ Defense Sector seeks a skilled Program Analyst to drive the planning, coordination, and execution of complex defense programs. Collaborate with a high-performing team to track performance metrics, manage schedules, produce reports, and mitigate risks. Ensure programs stay aligned with critical objectives, timelines, and priorities in a fast-paced government contracting environment. This role builds foundational program management expertise while contributing to mission success.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the program's Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) using Microsoft Project.
  • Track milestones, deliverables, risks, and action items, escalating issues as needed.
  • Prepare status reports, meeting minutes, and presentations for leadership.
  • Consolidate data from cross-functional teams for comprehensive performance reporting.
  • Support CDRL submissions and program documentation.
  • Facilitate information flow and resolve issues with engineering, finance, and contracts teams.
  • Deliver independent analysis and clear communication on assigned projects.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree + 2+ or 4+ years relevant experience; Master's + <2 or 2+ years; or equivalent experience.
  • Active Secret Clearance (TS/SCI eligible).
  • Familiarity with scheduling, risk management, and performance analysis in government contracts.
  • Strong communication skills for influencing teams and presenting data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and Office Suite.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in regulated environments or complex programs.
  • Knowledge of operational/technical concepts for decision-making.
  • Cross-functional experience in software/technology/systems.
  • Contractual or vendor management exposure.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint, Jira, Confluence.
