Leidos, prime contractor for the National Science Foundation's (NSF) Antarctic Support Contract (ASC), seeks a skilled Project Engineer to support complex projects in Antarctica. This remote/teleworker role in the US demands integration of planning, execution, and coordination for mission-critical science and logistics at McMurdo, Palmer, and South Pole Stations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Project Managers (PMs) and Construction Managers (CMs) on planning, scheduling, procurement, and documentation.
  • Track personnel/cargo movements, develop SOPs/SOWs, and manage KPIs for project performance.
  • Coordinate with design teams for material take-offs, requisitions, and reporting.
  • Ensure streamlined integration of CONUS and Antarctic activities.

Essential Requirements

Deployment to Antarctica required (3-8 weeks/year at management's discretion), including NSF physical/dental exams. US Citizenship and Public Trust clearance mandatory (up to 4 months processing). Ideal candidates excel in leadership, time management, communication, contract knowledge, and teamwork across stakeholders.

Compensation & Impact
