Job Description

Join Leidos as a Project Manager Supporting FAA's National Airspace System

Leidos' NISC Division seeks a strategic Project Manager to join our dynamic team at the FAA's Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City, OK. Drive mission-critical outcomes in federal aviation IT, outpacing the status quo with innovative Agile leadership.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate strategic thinking to understand requirements, foresee risks, and collaborate across roles to define project goals aligned with FAA objectives.
  • Draft and execute comprehensive project plans, managing governance, schedules, budgets, milestones, and mitigating execution risks while staying attuned to customer needs.
  • Apply judgment to challenge teams, manage client expectations, and serve as a strategic partner driving innovation through iterative feedback.
  • Lead Agile teams of business and technical resources, ensuring scope, schedule, and cost control using Scrum practices.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, demos, retrospectives; prioritize features with Product Owners; develop user stories and enforce Definition of Done.
  • Remove impediments, escalate challenges, coordinate inter-team efforts, monitor metrics via collaborative dashboards, and support UAT, integration testing, and release planning.

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS + 8 years relevant experience or Master's + 6 years.
  • 5+ years leading project teams; proficient in Microsoft Office and Project Management tools like MS Project.
  • Extensive Agile/Scrum expertise; prior FAA program experience; eligible for DoD Secret clearance.
  • Proven strategic planning and talent development skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP Certification.
