Leidos Engineering is seeking a skilled Project Scheduler to oversee and coordinate complex projects for a major electric utility client. This client-facing role demands expertise in scheduling electrical grid infrastructure projects, navigating regulatory landscapes, and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain engineering/construction schedules using Primavera P6 for transmission and distribution projects nationwide.
  • Utilize earned value management to align schedules and costs, creating recovery plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with Engineering Leads on client deliverables and produce detailed reports on critical paths, risks, and resource loading.
  • Interface directly with clients and management to report portfolio progress across electrical distribution projects.
  • Support project dashboards and KPI tracking on a hybrid schedule with frequent presence in New Albany, OH.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or Finance with 3+ years of Primavera P6 experience.
  • Deep knowledge of electric power transmission/distribution projects.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and strong communication skills.
  • AEP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and drive engineering and construction schedules for transmission & distribution projects
  • Apply earned value management techniques to align schedule and costs, including recovery plans
  • Partner with Engineering Leads to track and execute client deliverables
  • Produce weekly/monthly project control reports including resource analysis, critical path and risks
  • Interface with clients and internal management to report progress, schedules and risks
  • Assist in creating and maintaining project dashboard reports and KPI tracking
