Join Leidos on the Frontlines of FAA NextGen Innovation
Leidos seeks a Project/CAM Helper to lead a dynamic team powering the Federal Aviation Administration’s En-Route Automation Modernization (ERAM) – the core of the Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen). ERAM drives the shift from ground-based air traffic control to satellite-based management, enabling System Wide Information Management, Data Communications, and Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast for enhanced air traffic flow and safety.
Core ERAM Functions You’ll Support
- Real-time programming on high-availability systems
- Multi-threaded programming & low-level OS customization (RedHat, AIX)
- Low-level comms (TCP/IP, UDP, SCTP) & common services
- System maintenance for mission-critical operations
Your Key Responsibilities
- Drive Control Account Management (CAM), proposals, change orders, and technical support
- Deliver weekly schedules, monthly cost/estimates, variance analysis, and Baseline Change Requests (BCRs)
- Author Basis of Estimates (BOEs), plan workloads/manpower for current/future business
- Manage engineering tasks, milestones, deadlines, and JIRA for Scrum teams
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s + 4 years or Master’s + 2 years relevant experience
- Software engineering leadership with SDLC expertise
- CAM/EVMS, cost estimating, planning experience
- TS/SCI FAA clearance; Agile/Waterfall execution
- Superior communication, multi-tasking, and mission commitment
Familiarity with National Airspace/FAA NextGen preferred. Pay: $73,450-$132,775 USD/year. Leidos outpaces the status quo – join disruptors advancing aviation’s future.
