We're seeking a Proposal Editor II with active TS/SCI clearance for our Capture Operations & Excellence Group in Columbia, MD. Support Leidos' largest strategic bids by ensuring proposals are technically consistent, unified in voice, grammatically flawless, and highly readable.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as primary editing POC for proposals, RFIs, and White Papers.
- Skim Section L/M, SOW/PWS; develop custom style guides and acronym lists.
- Coordinate with Proposal Manager on schedules, intake forms, and edit levels.
- Apply Leidos House Style Guide, AP style, grammar rules for clarity and impact.
- Perform cross-section consistency checks; support EN/FPR revisions.
- Deliver edits on aggressive timelines, including overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in English/Linguistics (or equivalent experience) + 4+ years editing.
- Active TS/SCI clearance; superior grammar, AP style, voice/structure skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, Adobe tools; strong communicator.
- Flexible for overtime/weekends to hit proposal deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- SharePoint expertise; familiarity with technical terminology.
