Leidos is expanding its elite Proposal Operations Team and seeks exceptional Proposal Writers with proven experience in U.S. Government, FEDSIM, and commercial proposals. This high-impact role within Strategy & Business Development's Capture Operations & Excellence Group supports Leidos' most strategic enterprise bids across Defense, Intelligence, Civil, and Health lines of business.

Primary Responsibilities

• Collaborate with SMEs, Capture Teams, Solution Architects, and Volume Leads to craft compliant, compelling solutions meeting RFP requirements.
• Develop written responses for technical, management, past performance, staffing plans, and transition sections.
• Articulate clear strategies, win themes, discriminators, and approach to work execution.
• Employ strong interviewing skills to extract critical information from internal/external stakeholders.
• Produce persuasive, high-quality proposal text that drives competitive advantage.
• Implement process improvements to elevate proposal quality and efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree + 4+ years related experience; 2+ years Federal proposal writing.
• Experience with Federal/Government and FEDSIM proposals, including video/live orals and demonstrations.
• Proven track record of high-quality, high-scoring proposals on medium-to-large bids.
• Success leading technical/management volumes for complex efforts.
• Excellent writing, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• MS Office proficiency; strong work ethic; ability to travel in Washington Metro Area.

Desired Qualifications

• 6+ years competitive Federal proposal experience; 1+ years FEDSIM.
• Active Secret/Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
