Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of components and assembled parts to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Interpret assembly instructions, engineering drawings, and technical data packages accurately.
• Execute internal AS9100 audits to maintain certification standards.
• Document non-conformances, initiate investigations, and determine root causes for corrective actions.
• Lead or support 5S activities to optimize workplace organization and efficiency.
• Train and instruct technicians on best practices for installation, assembly, and quality techniques.

Basic Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED with 3-5 years relevant Quality Inspection experience.
• Proven leadership in operations or teams, problem-solving, and cross-level communication.
• Expertise in reading drawings and using precision tools like micrometers, calipers, height gauges.
• IPC certification and AS9100/ISO9001 environment experience required.
• Computer proficiency (Excel, Word) for inspection reports; minimal supervision needed.
• US Citizen with maintainable Secret Clearance; able to lift 35 lbs and travel.
• North Alabama resident or willing to relocate to Huntsville.

Preferred Qualifications

• Government contract/SOW interpretation experience.
• Familiarity with FAR/DFAR regulations.
• Prior auditing background.
