Join Leidos as a Quality Inspector/PCMM Technician - 2nd Shift in Huntsville, AL

Leidos is seeking a skilled PCMM Technician to join our dynamic Defense Systems team in Huntsville, AL. Deliver innovative solutions for complex defense challenges in land, sea, air, space, and cyberspace. Work on large-scale weldments, assemblies, and tooling using advanced metrology tools in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspections from first piece to final using Romer arms, Leica laser trackers (AT960/AT402), AS1 scanners, handheld/blue light scanners, and manual layouts.
• Document non-conformances, generate quality reports including bubble prints, Certificates of Conformance (C of C), and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Provide data-driven feedback to machinists and engineers with minimal supervision.
• Maintain calibration and operation of all measurement equipment.
• Read/interpret drawings, execute test procedures, and produce detailed inspection reports.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED + 3-5 years relevant experience (multiple levels available based on expertise).
• 4+ years with Romer Arm, AS1 Scanner, Leica Laser Trackers, or CMM; Spatial Analyzer preferred.
• Fluent in GD&T (ASME Y14.5-2009), standard tools (micrometers, calipers), and drawing interpretation.
• US Citizen eligible for Secret Clearance; Huntsville-area resident or willing to relocate.
• 2nd shift position; ability to lift 35 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Aerospace hardware inspection, MRB, AS9102 First Article Inspection, ISO9001/AS9100.
• Experience with Acceptance Data Packs, counterfeit prevention (AS5553).
