Join Leidos Defense Systems as a Radar and RF Systems Analyst

Leidos Defense Systems is seeking a talented Radar and RF Systems Analyst to join our diverse team in Huntsville, AL, tackling complex problems in defense, space, cyber, and commercial domains. Support the Threat Systems Development Branch, specializing in foreign threat radar systems, RF software-in-the-loop (SIL) and hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) simulators, and open-air radar development. Projects serve the Defense Intelligence Community (IC), Air Force, and major prime contractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis of threat systems including radar, RF, and IR technologies.
• Develop scripting tools for automated testing from conception to implementation.
• Integrate and work with hardware systems streaming RF data.
• Extract and process data from multiple sources, including classified networks.
• Test and debug RF/radar hardware using spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and lab equipment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve integration issues in threat models.

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS in related field + 2+ years relevant experience, or 6+ years without degree.
• Proven experience in radar and ELINT analysis.
• Software tooling development expertise.
• Working knowledge of radar fundamentals; proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio, MATLAB, Xilinx tools.
• Ability to thrive in collaborative engineering environments.
• US Citizenship with maintainable Secret Clearance (TS/SCI preferred).

Desired Skills

• RF systems integration experience.
• Testing, operating, troubleshooting complex RF/radar systems.
• Developing test plans and use cases for test ranges.
