We're seeking a curious, motivated Radar Signal Processing Engineer III who excels in research, algorithm innovation, and real-world implementation.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design cutting-edge radar signal processing algorithms for national defense applications
  • Research state-of-the-art techniques for noise reduction, target detection, and characterization
  • Conduct rigorous radar data analysis to uncover actionable insights
  • Build efficient, high-performance software implementations
  • Produce comprehensive documentation of results and methodologies
  • Thrive in a collaborative environment with top-tier peers

Basic Qualifications

  • BS (5+ years experience), MS (2+ years), or PhD in applied math, physics, engineering, or related field with radar signal processing focus
  • Ability to obtain Top-Secret security clearance
  • Proven expertise in scientific algorithm development and radar data analysis
  • Exceptional analytical and mathematical proficiency
  • Fluency in MATLAB, Python, or equivalent high-level languages
  • Demonstrated innovation, problem-solving, and technical achievement
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills
  • Required full-time on-site presence in San Diego, CA

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge of radar phenomenology, detection theory, and characterization
  • C/C++ programming experience for performance-critical applications
