The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos is seeking a skilled Red Hat Linux System Administrator to support critical Intelligence Sector missions in Chantilly, VA. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers, including deployment, configuration, patching, and maintenance on virtual platforms like VMware.
• Leverage Red Hat Satellite for large-scale management: configure software repositories, content views, lifecycle environments, and orchestrate patch/security updates for compliance.
• Develop and implement automation using Ansible and Bash/Python scripting for routine tasks and infrastructure deployment.
• Conduct advanced monitoring, performance tuning, and root cause analysis to ensure system health and stability.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles for team collaboration.

Minimum Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• 10 years combined experience/education (e.g., Bachelor's +6 years, Master's +4, Doctorate +3, HS +10).
• DoD 8140 IAT Level 2 compliance.
• 3-6 years hands-on RHEL system administration.
• Exceptional problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills.

Desired Skills & Certifications

• Experience applying DISA STIGs and DoD security checklists for hardening.
• Automation of STIG compliance with Ansible/Bash/Python.
• RHCSA, RHCE, or advanced Red Hat certifications.
