Key Responsibilities
- Develop relay protection schemes using microprocessor-based relays to safeguard transmission and distribution assets.
- Perform protective device coordination studies for transmission lines, buses, transformers, capacitor banks, circuit breakers, and reactors.
- Create logic settings to enable desired relay schemes and conduct area-wide coordination studies.
- Model system components and design secure network communications for substations.
- Collaborate in internal and client-facing discussions, integrating solutions with electrical, protection, SCADA, and civil engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years in relay settings, ideally with US-based customers.
- Bachelor's in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial); relevant experience may substitute.
- Hands-on DNP3 protocol experience; SCADA knowledge, GE D20/Orion RTUs, and SEL relays preferred.
- Proficiency in ETAP, relay coordination, TCC studies, PSS CAPE, CYME, or ASPEN.

- Capable of preparing and verifying calculations using engineering software (experience)
