Join Leidos as a Rental Housing Customer Service Representative in Indianapolis, IN

Leidos, a global leader in technology, engineering, and science, seeks dedicated Rental Housing Customer Service Representatives at our FHA Resource Center in Indianapolis, IN. Support the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Office of Single-Family Housing, in their mission to create strong, sustainable, inclusive communities and quality affordable homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Field inbound calls on multifamily rental assistance, including tenant complaints, following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Provide backup support for public inquiries on home buying and FHA loan servicing.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by sharing resources and referrals for renters, tenants, property managers, homebuyers, and homeowners.
  • Navigate knowledge bases, multiple systems, and search tools to resolve inquiries efficiently.
  • Accurately document all customer interactions in internal databases.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years property management experience + 1 year contact center or telephone customer service.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Teams); keyboarding 40+ WPM.
  • Strong communication skills, time management, and dependability.
  • Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance (credit check & background investigation required).
  • Shift: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM ET (subject to change).

Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Preferred: HUD-subsidized multifamily or public housing experience; omnichannel call center background.
