Leidos, a Top 10 Health IT provider, seeks a Research Scientist - Physiologist to support the Naval Submarine Medical Research Laboratory (NSMRL) in Groton, CT. Your Impactful Responsibilities

  • Consult with BUMED, fleet commands, CNO, NAVSEA, and DOD on physiology research.
  • Identify Navy-relevant topics in physical performance, nutrition, medical readiness; draft pre-proposals, protocols, reports, publications.
  • Develop/execute projects, including MOAs/CRADAs with collaborators.
  • Manage lab requirements, equipment fabrication, financial plans, IRB documentation.
  • Create methodologies, SOPs, ensure QA on studies.
  • Support NSMRL staff on human/non-human research.
  • Present findings to fleet via briefings, publications.
  • Prepare accessible summaries for diverse audiences.
