Leidos, a leader in national security innovation, seeks Senior Reverse/Embedded Software Engineers for our Offensive Cyber Operation (OCO) team in Columbia, MD. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop evasion techniques against host-based and network intrusion detection systems.
  • Build software for raw network traffic capture, analysis, and interpretation.
  • Master network socket programming with deep IP, TCP, and application protocol expertise.
  • Reverse engineer hardware/software, especially network devices, to exploit vulnerabilities.
  • Design capabilities from requirements and document detailed specifications.

Required Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance (mandatory).
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Engineering + 12 years development experience.
  • Expertise in Python and C/C++ for offensive cyber tools.
  • Proven offensive cyber programming for U.S. Government or commercial clients.
  • Advanced knowledge of network protocols, routers, and security.

Preferred Skills

  • Firmware/embedded systems reverse engineering.
  • Assembly programming.
  • Tools like IDA Pro and Ghidra for embedded firmware analysis.
  • Automated testing frameworks and Docker/container orchestration.
