Operate in a dynamic hybrid environment across Aberdeen Proving Ground, Adelphi, MD, and remote settings, adapting to task, security, and equipment needs.
Core Impact Areas
- Lead experiments evaluating RF signals on materials, crafting mathematical models and simulations.
- Prototype tools for signal generation, measurement, observation, and optimization.
- Deliver compelling analyses and presentations to government stakeholders.
- Assess external research, delivering actionable summaries and recommendations.
- Design specialized tools for signal transmission and effects measurement.
- Author protocols, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides for consistent, repeatable results.
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor’s in engineering + 4+ years or Master’s + 2+ years relevant experience.
- Active DoD Secret clearance (TS/SCI eligible); U.S. citizenship required.
- Proven microwave/pulsed power systems expertise.
- Excellent communication; Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Up to 10% CONUS travel.
Preferred Expertise
- Advanced degree.
- ARL or government R&D support experience.
- Deep electrical/RF engineering for military applications.
