Key Responsibilities

• Lead research and development of cutting-edge satellite communication technologies tailored for national security applications.
• Conduct system-level analysis, including link budget calculations and simulations, to optimize performance in constrained operational environments.
• Integrate satellite systems with ground stations, mobile platforms, and other defense assets for seamless interoperability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in deployed systems, such as RF interference and encryption challenges.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of government and contractor personnel to drive mission success.
• Prepare technical documentation, system architectures, and compliance records while supporting field testing, validation, and deployment.
• Deliver technical briefings and training to stakeholders and end-users.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, telecommunications, aerospace engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in satellite communications engineering, ideally supporting defense or intelligence programs.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance required; TS/SCI with polygraph highly desired.

Desired Expertise

• Master’s degree in electrical engineering, satellite communications, or related discipline.
• Expertise in RF/microwave design, signal processing, and satellite network engineering.
• Experience with DoD acquisition processes, system architecture investigations, and advanced aerospace concepts.
