Leidos seeks licensed behavioral health professionals for our Child and Youth Behavioral (CYB-MFLC) team supporting Fort Polk schools in Leesville, LA. This 9-month school calendar role empowers you to deliver non-medical counseling, consultation, and outreach to military children, youth, parents, faculty, and staff. Help military families navigate life's challenges with preventive, solution-focused support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in school activities with military youth, modeling behavior management.
  • Offer presentations on social-emotional learning and creativity.
  • Build family rapport through events and aid transitions to new environments.
  • Respond to emergent situations across installations, including outdoor/rugged terrain.
  • Participate in training and report trends to leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s or higher in Behavioral Health (MS/MSW/MA/PhD).

  • Ability to pass NACI/CNACI clearance and basic background check (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Work in schools serving military youth, observing and engaging in activities
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and behavior management support to staff and parents
  • Deliver presentations on social skills and emotional learning development
  • Assist with transitions like new schools and homes, attend community events
  • Communicate trends/issues to Team Leads and participate in training
