Primary Mission
Lead inhalation toxicology studies evaluating environmental and occupational exposures to chemicals, mixtures, and stressors like temperature extremes, altitude, and noise. Focus on short- and long-term effects across organ systems, including pulmonary, neurological, cognitive, developmental, and reproductive impacts.
Key Responsibilities
- Design military-relevant studies using rodent models to assess health and performance effects.
- Develop exposure systems, toxicant generation, and analytical techniques for aerosols/toxicants.
- Author/edit research proposals, IACUC protocols, technical reports, and peer-reviewed publications.
- Conduct risk assessments and present findings at conferences and technical reviews.
- Collaborate on multidisciplinary projects supporting Navy operational health initiatives.
- Maintain lab equipment and educate team members on protocols.

- Author research proposals, protocols, reports, and peer-reviewed publications
- Perform risk assessments and present findings at scientific meetings
