Security Infrastructure Lead

Join Leidos' elite Cybersecurity team supporting the J6 Penetration Handling, Incident, System Health (PHISH) task order on the GSM-O contract. Deliver 24x7x365 mission-critical network security infrastructure for DoD offices at the Pentagon. Operate IDS/IPS, Netflow, SIEM, Snort, Linux, and Virtualization in a high-stakes environment defending against adversarial cyber threats.

Primary Responsibilities

• Collaborate with government, contractors, and teams to deploy policies, rules, and signatures on cybersecurity tools.
• Manage outages and high-priority incidents with rapid response.
• Maintain SOPs, TTPs, and accurate network/elevation diagrams.
• Lead change control compliance and brief leadership on status/upgrades.
• Serve as SIMs team leader: conduct performance assessments, approve time charging, mentor personnel, and drive continual service improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance and DoD 8570 IAT II+ (Security+ CE or equivalent); CSSP Infrastructure Support within 6 months.
• Bachelor's + 12+ years experience (or equivalent military/relevant work).
• 2+ years deploying/maintaining IDS/IPS; supervisory experience.
• Expertise in network traffic, Windows/Linux CLI/scripting, troubleshooting security infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Automation (Ansible, Puppet, Chef); deep cyber tech knowledge including emerging threats.
• Understanding of Cyber Kill Chain, MITRE ATT&CK, intrusion TTPs; prior SOC analyst experience.
• Strong communication for technical reports and self-starter mindset.
