Join Leidos' National Security Sector as a Senior AI/ML Engineer
Leidos is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer (SWE-3) to join our Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA) in Fort George G. Meade, MD. Be at the forefront of Security Engineering, Computer Network Operations (CNO), Mission Software, SIGINT, and Cryptographic Key Management. Our LOE program delivers rapid prototyping, new development, and advanced technology research to push boundaries in data visualization, analytics, and intelligence tradecraft.
Key Mission Impact
Support the Corporate Discovery Services mission by working closely with stakeholders to prototype and deploy AI/ML solutions. Accelerate evaluation and tuning of models that integrate, reference, infer, and consolidate data into holistic views. Thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment driving mission success.
Core Responsibilities
- Collaborate with customers to enable ML model acceleration for data integration.
- Develop prototypes using diverse architectures, including database admin, dataflow engineering, and model tuning.
- Leverage Python (SciKit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch), R, GIT, and Jupyter Notebooks.
- Augment LLMs with RAG and MCP for generative tasks (desirable).
Qualifications & Clearance
Requires Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field + 8+ years experience. Active TS/SCI with Polygraph mandatory. Proficiency in Python ecosystem, relational DBs, and TensorFlow essential.
