Join Leidos as a Senior ArcGIS Administrator in Fort Belvoir, VA
Leidos is seeking a Senior ArcGIS Administrator to support the DTRA Program at Fort Belvoir, VA. Join our high-performing team maintaining enterprise GIS software, services, and web applications. Ensure optimal ArcGIS infrastructure performance, provide user support, and troubleshoot complex issues while collaborating with IT and GIS users to meet evolving mission needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain Esri ArcGIS Enterprise, including Portal and Server environments.
- Upgrade systems, apply patches, and support all Esri product releases.
- Design solutions for multi-disciplinary technical challenges.
- Integrate data from external systems and advance GIS initiatives.
- Secure data per agency policies and document all configurations.
- Provide technical insights on GIS policies and software acquisitions.
Required Qualifications
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s + 8 years, Master’s + 6 years, or equivalent; 4+ years ArcGIS admin/geospatial; 2-3+ years Windows Server; 2-3+ years web management; 3+ years SQL/Python.
- Clearance: Active TS/SCI required.

- Hands-on Esri software installation/configuration (ArcGIS Server, Desktop, Pro).
- Relational DB expertise (Oracle/PostgreSQL).
- Scripting automation (Python/PowerShell).
- Ticket resolution in ServiceNow/Jira; documentation in Confluence/SharePoint.

- 2-3+ years of Windows Server experience (experience)
- 2-3+ years of web server management, troubleshooting websites, applications, and security (experience)
- 3+ years combined experience with SQL and Python (experience)
- Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance required (experience)
Responsibilities
- Provide operational support and maintenance for Esri ArcGIS Enterprise environments, including Portal and Server
- Upgrade ArcGIS Enterprise systems to latest versions and perform software patching
- Troubleshoot GIS software issues, assist users, and ensure full functionality
- Collaborate with programs to integrate data from other systems and advance GIS initiatives
- Design solutions for complex technical challenges across multiple disciplines
- Document user guides, processes, configurations, and database connections
- Ensure data security compliance with agency policies and privacy laws
- Provide technical recommendations on GIS policies, objectives, and software purchases
- Automate tasks using Python or PowerShell and manage incident tickets in ServiceNow/Jira
